"Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." (Psalm 73: 25-26) |
Bob MarshElderBob arrived in Huntsville, AL in 1972 and was stationed at Redstone Arsenal as part of the Military. The Lord saved him in 1973 through the preaching of the Word of God, when the Lord granted him repentance of his sin and gave him faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ as his only hope of salvation. Bob studied remotely under Dr. Harold Wilmington of Liberty University, and came to understand the Scriptures through the teaching of John McArthur, Martin Lloyd-Jones, William Hendriksen, John Murray, Charles Spurgeon, and many others. He became an elder at Grace Baptist Church 15 years ago and has joyfully served as a teacher and servant of the Lord Jesus and the saints. Bob is married to his dear wife Janet, and they have 8 sweet children and 8 sweet grandchildren.
